2. Malaysian Aluminium & Alloys Sdn Bhd (MAA)

MAA is a leading aluminium smelting company and has its plant in Malaysia. Its main business is in the manufacture of quality aluminium alloy ingots. The smelting plant commenced operations in 2004 and has become a prime supplier to both a regional and overseas customer base. At present, MAA's revenue is 70% domestic and 30% exports. Due to increased customer's demand, the company expanded plant and equipment including installation of a TRF (Tilting Rotary Furnace) utilizing technology from France and Australia.
